Haugen Handgun Leather fully appreciates your business and we trust you will fully appreciate the quality of the products you receive.  We do not stock holsters and each is made as ordered. We are a two man shop consisting of Jerry Evans and Douglas Schultz. Each holster is hand made and this takes several steps and time to complete.  Depending on the our current workload, our average year round backlog or turn around time as some referred it as is 6 to 8 weeks.  We do have periods when we do have increases in the backlog, this is especially true following magazine articles featuring one or more of our holsters, or the Christmas Season.  Other holster makers of equal popularity, craftsmanship, and quality are similarly backlogged; often times as much (and more) than we are.

Often we're asked why do you have backlogs.  The reason for backlogs is because the volume of incoming orders exceed the number of holsters and other products that can be made in a day.  I know it is difficult to wait for something this important, however we frequently receive comments from our longtime customers that our holsters are well worth the wait and weI think you'll agree once your have received your products.

Should you order from us, we please ask for your patience as we work very hard to complete your order.  Your patience will pay off, as our prices are very reasonable and our quality is outstanding.  Very important to us and to the benefit of our customers is limited the amount of time spent answering the phone for order status checks throughout a good portion of our day.  It takes up valuable work time and does add to our backlog.  If you have a need to contact us later on for a estimated delivery time, please do it through email so we can help you when we have a free moment.  If there is a problem with your order or payment, we will contact you.

In the end you will receive a fine, quality holster, that fits your gun like a glove!.  Please be patient with us and order in advance if at all possible.
